Buntal

Buntal comes from a palm tree with large leaves known as "Corypha Elata". The flat fibre, with a length of between 80 to 90 cm, is extracted from the leaf’s stalk. Sorted into 4 quality grades, the fibre is woven one by one with a shuttle clip on a traditional loom.

The color variations of Buntal when woven are linked to the seasons and the place where the fibre is harvested. These variations give each length its unique and exceptional qualities.
